Kia ora! I’m Christie O’Loughin, a graphic designer, commercial still-life photographer, and video producer from New Zealand now based in Brooklyn, NY. I have had a 7+ year career in design and photography, specializing in supporting and building brands’ visual identities through digital and editorial spaces. Before that, I worked in Foreign Policy and High-Level Political Events management at the United Nations doing a mix of policy and logistics work, which grew into my love for independently managing all scales of projects and producing films.
All my work is strongly conceptually driven and often involves a distinct sense of play, humor, and most of all, humanity. I find great joy in working with all types of brands - big and small, well-established and just starting out.
Some of the past brands I’ve worked on are Keds, eBay, The Farmer’s Dog, Duo Toothpaste, Zuul, Google, Express, Uber, Brawny, Fitbit, Humana, Graduate Hotels, Virgin Hotels, Adidas, MV Salads, Holi Chow, and more.
Outside work, you can find me pursuing my love of baking, creating wild art creations with my creative and endlessly curious 2-year-old, Anouk, or seeking out new greener places with my dog, Yeong-Gi.
